✓ I accept all kinds of roleplay, with the exception of smut, unless we are mutuals, have chemistry between our characters ,and have talked about shipping.

Serah Farron : Serah is the younger sister to Lightning. Lightning became her sole guardian after the death of both their parents at a young age. Serah became one of Lightning’s reasons for joining the guardian Corps and later one of her biggest reasons to keep on fighting. She deeply loves her and would do anything to protect Serah, she’s the only family she has left.
Snow Villiers : Snow is a fiery young man, and he is the fiancée of Lightning’s little sister Serah, though she greatly disapproves of the couple. Snow sets out with Lightning and the others on a mission to save Serah after she is taken captive, and even though their time together was a long bumpy road of constant fights and bouts of disagreements, he remained by his sister-in-law’s side even long after they had saved Serah. Snow is a headstrong guy, easily swayed by his emotions and can easily win anyone over with his charming outgoing and optimistic personality. Lightning begins to understand why Serah fell for him, and later entrusts Snow to guard her sister in her stead, this giving them her official blessing.
Sazh Katzroy : Sazh is a friendly, cheerful, middle aged man. He is a rather curious person in Lightning’s opinion, he never travels without his odd companions, a chocobo chick and pair of pistols. Light meets him when she began her mission to save her sister Serah, abroad the Purge trains, and since then he has been by her side. Though he is definitely the eldest of the group, he always maintains a youthful, lively and carefree personality.
Hope Estheim : Hope is a young boy who accompanied Light and the group through their travels. He was an inexperienced kid when Light first met him, and throughout their initial time together he was basically a thorn in her side. But she found herself growing somewhat attached to the boy, taking on a somewhat of a motherly role when it came to him. She helped to toughen him up to the ways of the world they lived in, and he remained by her side even in her darkest of moments.
Vanille : Vanille is a young girl with an always sunny and optimistic personality. She is considerate and empathetic, easily driven to tears and cares deeply for others. Despite all the hardships she has faced in her life, Vanille remains a caring and upbeat person and always strives to be positive, even in situations others deem hopeless.
Fang : Fang is a strong minded and mysterious woman with an “ I don’t care” attitude towards the world. Lightning encounters her when she and Snow saved her and Hope from one of Yaag Rosch’s ambushes. And though Lightning learns that the only reason her sister was turned into a l’Cie was because of Fang, Light still values the friendship she and Fang have built throughout their travels and trials.

Headcannons
➢ One of the main reasons Lightning initially hated Snow was because she had already been drifting away from her sister. So when she had finally planned a vacation for them to get away together, Snow entered the picture. Lightning feared she would lose her sister, her only living family, to the scruffy looking rebel.
➢ Lightning was quick to allow Sazh to join her as when he brought up his son, she could sympathize with him, for she wanted to save someone precious to her.
➢ Along their journey, Hope becomes like a little brother to her. And though she and the others constantly show him tough love, besides Serah, Hope is probably the only other person who has seen Lightning at her most vulnerable moment, and she cherishes him so deeply. Hurt Hope, you die.
➢ She finds it rather amusing how Caius Ballad goes out of his way to come up with all these sweet titles (nicknames) for her, but she couldn’t care less about doing the same and just sticks to his name. Part of her feels he improvises because he either has a thing for her ,or he just completely forgets her name.
➢ Lightning just wants to be loved. At times she is somewhat touch starved. In all honesty, was a tiny bit envious of Serah and Snow when she thinks about it. With the events of her life, she never really had time to settle down and just live normally. But now that she lives in the New World, she hopes to enjoy her life. And who knows maybe she will settle down someday, like her sister and Snow.
➢ After Bhunivelze removed Serah’s soul from Light’s, even though she couldn’t really show her emotions on the outside, coming off as cold and heartless at times, Lightning could feel her old emotions deep within. This is later revealed as when she’s fading into the chaos, she openly admits she didn’t want to be alone, and with tears in her eyes, she cries out to Hope saying she wanted to be saved.
➢ Lightning has always, though secretly, been fearful of showing her emotions. She hid them away since the death of her parents because she believed it would make her stronger. And she came to find out that whenever she would let them get in the way of her missions, she would lose people she care about. From friends in the Guardian Corps, to her travels with the group to save Serah.
➢ She won’t admit it, but she’s actually pretty easily flustered. However, to cope with hiding her blushing, she will tend to come up with snarky remarks, as seen with Snow Villiers on multiple occasions whenever he flaunts his “charms” on her.

➢ Born Claire Farron, Lightning’s father died when she was just a young girl. And her mother too passed but of an unknown illness when she was just fifteen. Thus, she became Serah’s, her little sister's, only guardian and raised her on her own.
➢ To overcome the pain of losing her parents, Claire matured quickly and then dawned the name Lightning.
➢ After high school, Lightning joined the Guardian Corps Bodhum Security Regiment under Lieutenant Amodar. She quickly gained the rank of Sergeant and was recommended for officer training.
➢ Just days before her 21st birthday, she met Snow Villiers, the leader of the monster fighting group NORA that saved her. She then finds out he’s dating her sister and demands he get out of her life due to hostilities she has against the vigilantism of NORA.
➢ On the day of her birthday she’s confronted by Serah and Snow who announce their engagement as well as the fact her little sister has been branded a Pulse l’Cie. Lightning didn’t believe it and instead drove her sister away further. But when Sanctum announced that a Pulse fal’Cie was discovered within the Vestige, Lightning begins to realize Serah was telling the truth.
➢ After learning that Sanctum planned to Purge the town, and hearing from Snow that Serah was taken captive, Lightning boards the Purge trains and resigns from the Guardian Corps so she can be taken to the Hanging Edge to save Serah.
➢ After defeating PSICOM soldiers, Lightning and Sazh discover Serah outside Anima’s throne. Hope, Snow and Vanille arrive in time to hear Serah’s plea to Lightning, asking her to save Cocoon before entering crystal stasis, having fulfilled her focus.
➢Lightning and the group confront and destroy Anima, but are branded l’Cie before it perishes as the Vestige falls into Lake Bresha crystalizing it on impact.
➢ Light had a fight with Hope, and this caused her to accidentally summon Odin, who attacked Hope deeming him an obstacle. But after working together to defeat him, Hope and Light carried on together, Lightning even softening her approach towards him. To encourage him, she even gave him the survival knife her sister had given her as a birthday gift.
➢ While traveling with Fang, Lightning learns that one can awaken from crystal stasis, but that Serah had only become a l’Cie because Fang didn’t complete her focus.
➢ In the confrontation against Cid Raines ,he reveals himself to be a sanctum l’Cie. This hits hard for Light as she realized that she had been nothing more than a fal’Cie pet, having had achieved nothing on her own.
➢ Raines also revealed Barthandelus’s master plan to destroy Cocoon to bring about the return of "The Maker." This would only strengthen Lightning and the group's resolve to fight against their focus.
➢ She began to change, having hope they would see Serah again.
➢ Trying to stop Fang from becoming Ragnarok, Lightning, Snow , Sazh and Hope were all turned to Cie’ths. But when Fang’s transformation failed, they were all returned to normal, their l’Cie brands changed ,and they had a new focus, to save Cocoon.
➢ After completing her focus, thanks to Vanille and Fang becoming Ragnarok and saving Cocoon, she entered crystal stasis but was soon restored to find her l’Cie brand was gone.
➢ Light would choose to explore ways to bring back Fang and Vanille, now entrusting Serah to Snow, and she looked forward to the wedding that still needed to be planned.

➢ After the time line change, Lightning was erased from history, shortly after Cocoon was saved due to an anomaly in the space time continuum. And only Serah remembers her returning after the fall of Cocoon.
➢ This anomaly was all because of the actions taken by the Goddess Etro. After saving the group from their Cie’th status, and then removing their l’Cie brands, she caused distortions in time and weakened herself. This allowed Chaos to creep into the world
➢ These ripples through time summoned Lightning to Valhalla. And though upon arrival she was challenged by Mog, they worked together throughout her time in Valhalla as he had useful information on her current predicament.
➢ Light was challenged by Odin, and in this fight she learned how to use magic, despite no longer being a l’Cie.
➢ After dueling and defeating Bahamut, Lightning faced Etro who allowed her to use the eyes of Etro to see visions from the past and future. Because of these visions, Lightning chose to remain in Valhalla and become the Goddess’s Champion.
➢ This decision would see her locked in an endless conflict with Caius Ballad, a man given the heart of Chaos by the Goddess, this granted him eternal life.
➢ After meeting and saving Noel, she requests him and Mog to travel through time so he could find Serah and bring her to Valhalla. She believed he and Serah could change the future.
➢ During a later battle, Lightning would be defeated by Caius as she had seen a vision of Serah’s death through the eyes of Etro. After being struck down, she was taken by the chaos and would blame herself for her sister’s death as she was the one who asked her for help.
➢ Serah’s final request to light was that she wanted her to always be remembered. After that, she merged her soul with Light's. To protect Serah, Lightning entered crystal stasis to await the end of eternity.
LIGHTNING RETURNS
➢ 5 Centuries later, Bhunivelze, once referred to as The Maker, named Lightning the Savior. And in exchange for bringing Serah back to life, he tasked Lightning with guiding the souls of humanity through to a new world free from the chaos that had engulfed grand Pulse, following the death of Etro. This brought about the creation of
Nova Crystallia.
➢ Bhunivelze separated Serah’s soul from Light’s and used Serah to make Light more complicit to his wishes. He also removed much of her emotions and this caused her to have a flatter tone when conversing with others, this he believed would make her more efficient.
➢ Though still living, Lightning just didn’t feel human anymore. And as her soul was separated, she lost a piece of herself too. Thus creating Lumina, a vessel that housed Serah’s separated soul to keep it safe from the chaos.
➢ Lightning encountered her old allies, one being Fang. Through her she learned of a cult called “The Order of Salvation.” Comprised of Bhunivelze worshipers, they wanted to sacrifice Vanille through the Soul Song in order to pull the souls from the chaos ,only to destroy them.
➢ After hearing of the cult, and through Lumina that Serah too would be lost if they succeeded, this only strengthened Lightning's resolve to put a stop to the ritual. But as the Savior, she knew she couldn’t save Vanille, so she entrust her to Fang believing she was the only one that can save her from the darkness.
➢ Lightning encountered the soul of Cid Raines, who confirmed what Fang had said of the Soul Song and that Vanille needed to be stopped. He also told her that should the time come, Lightning could harness the power of chaos to defy Bhunivelze, but only if she could find Serah.
➢ Hope was freed from Bhunivelze’s grasp and encouraged Lightning to make the right decision. He also comforted her saying that Serah had been watching over her all this time.
➢ After the group crashed the Soul Song ritual ,and convinced Vanille to guide the souls, Bhunivelze appeared using Hope’s body as a medium to transport Lightning to God’s Sanctum to undergo the Savior Trials.
➢ After squaring off against Bhunivelze, Lightning learn that the new world he wanted to create would now have to be destroyed due to her meddling in the Soul Song ritual, as he wanted to create a world where people only knew joy. A world of puppets.
➢ Defying him, as the new Goddess of Death, she defeated Bhunivelze and freed Hope, accepting the fact she would no longer be able to join the others in the new world as someone had to stay behind to control the chaos.
➢ Being reminded of her selfishness, she came to realize and cried out that she did not want to be alone. Hearing her suffering, Hope pulled her from the darkness. Together with her allies they launched a final attack on Bhunivelze, defeating him and allowing humanity to be reborn.
➢ In the New World, she keeps in contact with her allies but ultimately decided to stay out of the limelight and just enjoy her time as a normal citizen.
